Rocklands Group Copper Project

Geology and Mineralization of the Rocklands Copper DepositRESOURCE: Las Minerale (as of July 2006) 25 million tonnes @ 2% Cu equivalent, Rocklands Central & South (as of May 2006) 5.5 million tonnes @ 0.77% Cu. Drilling is under way to re-categorise the resource to Measured and Indicated over the Central strike length of the 1250m total strike length identified at July 2006. The strike length on Las Minerale is now 1600m.

Drilling is at 25m spacing and 25m step back. However due to the shortage of drill rigs a length of between 600-800m maybe re-categorised with the balance of the 1250m to be upgraded as drilling continues.

The EPM which covers some 2200ha has some 20km length of drill targets identified by geophysical survey, bedrock geochem and soil samples.

About CuDECO

A ‘shallow’ drill hole of 150 metres is equivalent to a 50 story building! An RC (reverse-circulation) drill rig can drill approximately 300 metres in an average day.A Diamond drill rig can drill approximately 25 metres in an average day.The old timers who worked the Double Oxide pit extracted 390 tonnes of native copper metal from 890 tonnes of ore – 44% Cu!Brian Peters – (CuDeco’s Construction Manager) walks about 5 Km in an average working day and doesn’t go outside the compound.
